- Artist Spotlight: Jovis Leigh Howieson
Jovis is a photographer from Singapore who now calls London home.
Her life monumentally changed for the better when she bought a camera in 2018. It helped her become who she is today and continues to give her countless opportunities for adventures.
She has since founded the Urban Photographers Club, an international community of photographers offering photo walks, projects, events, a book club and exhibitions.
Jovis loves traveling and is always planning her trips to coincide with her photography projects. She is always searching for extraordinary people and places to tell their stories.
When not shooting, Jovis also enjoys kayak racing, playing the piano and guitar, attending musicals, dancing, and fussing over her two cats, Sookie and Tiger Cat.

Surround yourself with people that have a negative attitude, people that are fueled by jealousy and envy, people who will critique your work unhelpfully and tell you that you will never be good enough to make great photographs.
