Court Richards is an Australian photographer based in London.
Court’s life centers around movement. He grew up on army bases and was no stranger to packing up for somewhere new. In 2003, he embarked on a year-round-the-world trip that continues to this day. His trip started in Oman, and then on to Dubai. He continued to France, Bulgaria, Portugal, Denmark, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Mauritania.
It was after becoming a parent that he discovered his love for photography, exploring various genres in search of inspiration. Ultimately, street photography was the calling, and a passion quickly grew. It provided a way of embracing silent moments within bustling surroundings - a way to observe and capture the moments between the moments around him.
Beyond his passion for capturing images, Court is a devoted father, husband, and collector of toys and whiskey. He is also a dedicated health and safety professional, grateful for the opportunities to explore that his line of work has afforded him.
